About Nicole
I am an avid Classics enthusiast and I thoroughly enjoyed my degree at Cambridge. I focused on Women and Greek Literature in my finals (having never studied Greek before university, I learned the language ab initio in one year). I also enjoy Art History, and three of my modules in third-year were related to this field- I am very interested in sculpture and visual narratives. I would like to be able to guide students in Classics and talk about their specific interests, since it is a field that I am passionate about.

I usually teach one-hour sessions in Latin and Oxbridge Admissions, focusing especially on grammar and translation, as well as giving personal statement advice. I have tutored for over three years and take students at any level- from primary school to degree standard.
Tutoring students from an ab initio level involved explaining challenging linguistic concepts in a comprehensible manner to students who had not studied any similar subject before. This fostered my ability to condense and simplify information, whilst quickly adapting to students’ unique learning styles. I am passionate about teaching but also enjoy getting to know my students and their interests. Classics is an extremely broad discipline, and having explored a plethora of areas within the field at university, I would love to offer any advice regarding specialisation. I hope to help in any way that I can!
