About Nicholas

Hello! My name is Nicholas, and I am a PhD candidate in Economics and Management at the University of Trento, where I specialize in financial econometrics, asset pricing, ESG investing, and applied statistics.

Teaching has been an important part of my career for over eight years. I have taught English in Japan, economics in China, and university courses in statistics and management in Italy. Working with students from different educational backgrounds has taught me how to explain complex concepts in a clear, patient, and engaging way.

I enjoy helping students move beyond memorizing formulas to truly understanding the intuition behind economics, finance, and statistics. Whether you need help preparing for an exam, improving your grades, completing assignments, or working on a thesis or research project, I will tailor each lesson to your goals and learning style.

Outside of teaching and research, I enjoy learning about financial markets, reading academic research, traveling, and experiencing different cultures. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals!

About the lesson

I have over eight years of teaching experience working with students from middle school through master's-level university programs. My teaching experience spans three countries and includes English, economics, statistics, management, and quantitative methods.

Every lesson is personalized to your individual needs. Whether you're preparing for an exam, working through difficult course material, completing assignments, or writing a thesis, I design each session to address the specific concepts you find challenging. My goal is not only to help you solve problems but also to build your confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.

As a PhD candidate in Economics and Management at the University of Trento with research in finance, econometrics, and sustainable finance, I combine academic rigor with a patient, supportive teaching style. I believe that every student can succeed when complex ideas are explained clearly and connected to practical examples.
