About Colt
I started my teaching journey in 2015 when I moved to Japan and taught English to children for two years. I fell in love with teaching and knew that I wanted to be the best teacher I could be. I returned to California and worked hard to earn my Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages with a 4.0. I learned the cutting edge teaching theories and got experience teaching college students and adults while getting my M.A. degree. After graduating, I moved to Chile and taught professors from University of Chile (Universidad de Chile) English to help them progress in their professional careers. I also taught English online during this time to children in China on the VIPKid platform. I have returned to California and am excited to help you reach your English goals in my classes.
Outside of class, I have many hobbies. I am interested in traveling, photography, music, playing my guitar, movies, cooking, hiking, snowboarding, and skate boarding.
