About Jennifer
I grew up in California and went to college in Arkansas. I lived for 7 years in total and have a very fond spot in heart for Arkansas. I got married almost years ago. My husband and I have two dogs and an 18 month old little girl. At the beginning of last summer we decided to move to Phoenix in order to be closer to our families. I enjoy reading, watching movies, swimming, and spending time with my husband and daughter.

My approach to tutoring is to help the student(s) understand the material in a way that makes sense for them. Whether that is using manipulatives, songs, writing, etc. Something that I strive for when teaching or working with students is to be a person that they can look back on and say "that person made an impact in my education." I have a degree in elementary education and lessons are geared toward k-6. A typical lesson can and will look different for each student. My goal is to find their strengths and weaknesses and incorporate them into the lessons.
