I am a Law Grad and hold a masters in secondary education, specifically in Geography. Have taught wider humanities during my trainee year. I have taught to classes from year 7 to 13, and have helped improve results, increase enthusiasm for humanities and help with exam technique.

I use a wide range of resources and lessons derived from ones I've used in classrooms with success.
I am a believer that enthusiasm and curiosity in the subject is the first step towards success; you are always better at the subjects you love, so finding things to love in the subject is key! Topical (from the news) starters/introductions are often incorporated in my lessons. After that, breaking down complex ideas via diagrams/flowcharts and even sketches can help cement it in the memory. Feeding back what has been learnt at the end of the lesson ensures you leave the class knowing what you should have taken from it, and you never walk away thinking 'what was that all about???'
