1. To quickly multiply a number by 9, use this trick:

Write down the number you want to multiply by 9.
Subtract 1 from the number.
The first digit of the answer is one less than the original number, and the second digit is the difference between 9 and the first digit.
Example: 7 x 9

7 - 1 = 6
Answer: 63

2. Multiplication by 11:
For multiplying a two-digit number by 11:

Add the two digits together and place the result in the middle.
Keep the first and last digits of the original number the same.
Example: 36 x 11

3 + 6 = 9
Answer: 396

3. Square of a two-digit number ending in 5:
To square a two-digit number ending in 5:

Multiply the tens digit by itself + 1.
Append 25 to the result.
Example: 35^2

3 x (3 + 1) = 12
Answer: 1225
