About Joshua
I do not have any set qualifications, however, I have played guitar for 13 years. I am 20 now, studying at university and from the time I started playing guitar I have played a minimum of an hour a day. I am confident in my abilities to play the guitar and confident in my abilities to relay the information to my students. I am extremely patient and understand the struggles of how difficult starting guitar is and committing to it. I strive to pass on my own love for the guitar and blues guitar especially.

My methodology as a guitar teacher is that the more fun a lesson is, the more invested and interested a student might be. I would love to assist in teaching the basics of guitar to students while also allowing them to have a choice in what songs or backing tracks they might want to learn. A typical lesson will include theory of the guitar, knowing the components of the guitar, how to properly handle a guitar, learning the names of notes, how to play chords, and the certain scales that will be beneficial to the students development.
