About Joshua
I have taken advanced courses and seminars in public speaking, linguistics, rhetorical strategy, journalism, presentation techniques, and more. I have worked for Brainfuse as a Writing Lab Coordinator (proofreading students' works while teaching them in-tandem). I also work with students one-one-one at home and via my computer. I have the tutoring experience and education needed to transform students' writing and speaking skills.

I cater all lessons to students' specific requests and skillsets. I have helped high school and college students (as well as Master's degree candidates) hone their essay writing and public speaking skills.
I have specific expertise teaching rhetorical strategies for persuasive and authoritative essay writing. I also teach basic and advanced grammar, and I work to teach my students how to recognize advanced grammatical errors. I design assignments around students' needs; I may ask a writer to create a one-sentence paragraph that is grammatically accurate, or ask them to transform a weak opinion into a substantiated argument.

I met Josh in college. I have never been a good writer but Josh has helped me review several papers and essays through several different college courses. He has a true talent and passion for language, which only makes him a stronger teacher in that area.
