About Adaeze

Hello, all! My name is Adaeze, and I look just like your new study buddy!

Some info about me: I am a Harvard College admit who will begin study at the University this fall, but I was also admitted to Yale University and Columbia University as a John Jay Scholar—so when it comes to college preparation, I know what works! In terms of my SAT score, I applied to these colleges with my score of 1560 broken into 770 English and 790 Math, both earned in one sitting—no super-scoring needed! I also graduated from an elite high school with Cum Laude distinction, so I know how to get my academics in check. Needless to say—I can be a great help to embarking on the college process!

For those of you who aren't, I can still be of great use! My organization, patience, and explanation skills will make my SAT, mathematics and English tutoring sessions a smooth, fun experience for you. I am also quite flexible and understanding—despite my strong academic record, I have made mistakes and fallen behind before. It happens! I won't judge you; what matters is building stronger foundations and moving forward with a zest for knowledge.

Hello, everyone! My name is Adaeze, and I look just like your new English tutor! :)

Having gone through middle and high school determined to pursue my higher education at Harvard University, I know the difference that a strong SAT score can make in strengthening your college application and increasing your confidence in the process. I worked for months to grasp every last point of my 1560 score, and I know the struggle that every high-achieving student undergoes to ensure that their score is an accurate reflection of their potential as a candidate.

These months of preparation also led me to try many different methods of SAT prep, which is exactly why my approach to the SAT tutoring sphere is to tailor each and every lesson to your needs as a student. Why waste time studying what you naturally excel in when you can brush up on the topics robbing you of your desired score? My sessions will do just this: by aiming at what you're getting wrong, I will make sure that your score turns out just right!

If you're not here for the SAT, that's also okay! I'm happy to read your college/scholarship essay submissions or look over parts of your application.

As an SAT tutor, my lesson plan consists mainly of practice tests, topic exercises, and any special concerns the student may have going into the tutoring session. Aside from practice tests, I may also assign homework upon necessity or request, but we will complete nearly all of the non-test resources in-session so I can better gauge student capabilities in real-time. However, I intend to maintain flexibility throughout the session so that your student's needs can be organically and individually met!

These sessions are intended for high school students taking the SAT, anyone in need of essay revision for college/scholarship applications or the SAT, or anyone who is generally interested in bettering their writing skills.
