My name is Emefa, and my approach as a tutor is centered on clarity, structure, and confidence-building. I believe students learn best when concepts are broken down into digestible steps and connected to what they already know. A typical lesson begins with a brief check-in to identify what the student is working on and where they may be feeling stuck. I then introduce or review concepts using clear explanations, examples, and guided practice before moving into independent problem-solving or skill application. I regularly create lesson plans and targeted exercises to reinforce learning and track progress over time.
My lessons are designed for elementary (K–6) students, middle and high school students taking Algebra 1 and college students needing math support. I help students not only learn the material but also gain confidence in their abilities.
