About Aman

I am a native French speaker who attended an International high school and is now a student in Neuroscience in Canada. I acquired a DELF diploma and a score of 5/5.

I offer flexibility to my student in a manner that still allows for a structure and a schedule to be respected. I am punctual and professional regardless of the situation. Lastly, I assure a safe learning environment for the comfort of my students.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is patience, open-mindedness and structure. The first step is always a conversation about the student's goal to set a schedule and agree on the intensity of the course while being realistic.

As a native French speaker from West-Africa, I am used to a multitude of accents and nuances when it comes to speaking the language. This therefore allows me to be flexible with my students’ singularities.

A typical lesson starts with a casual conversation about their lives and daily activity to get them use to casual conversations. We then gradually move on to the specific abilities they need to develop such as their vocabulary, grammar, conjugation, pronunciation and so on. We then end up the session with a practical application of the skill learnt

My lessons are for students of all levels and walks of life. My tutoring experience with different types of students from multiple origins and nationalities have prepared me to teach to all.

Excellent! Aman was a great tutor. She was able to tailor sessions towards my requests (I wanted an emphasis on spoken conversations, improving office-type vocabulary and speaking styles), and checked in regularly to make sure my needs were being met. Our lessons were always enjoyable.
