About Wensi
I started learning the Guzheng at the young age of 9. I still remember when I looked at my classmate's Guzheng performance, which was the beginning of my love. I was under the tutelage of renowned Guzheng performer and educator Mdm Guan Jie. Since young, I have been actively taking part in various competitions and performances. In 2015, I came to the United States to pursue a master's degree. During my study here, I attended many cultural activities and performed Guzheng in front of the locals, which motivated me to spread Chinese culture with Guzheng. I want to convey enthusiasm in my teaching. I am willing to cultivate performance skills while learning basic Guzheng skills. I encourage students to apply the body gesture in dealing with their music. I also bring modern and traditional music into the classes based on students' preferences, providing customized lessons to suit their characteristics.
