About Phani

Music has been a core part of my life for over a decade. I started out with classic rock , then quickly found a deep connection with the soul of blues and Hindustani classical music. I'm heavily influenced by all the Blues greats and also A.R. Rahman. As a Teacher, I'm always keen on providing perspectives to the students, like if you want to play Rhythm guitar, how learning to listen to Drums especially can change the very way you think about playing Guitar and also thinking like a singer when you are trying to play a solo etc.

About the lesson

I focus on building a strong foundation while encouraging creativity from the start. My goal is to help students not only play music but express themselves through it. Methods & Structure 1.Technique-building 2.Learning songs/riffs 3.Practical music theory 4.Creative exercises (improvisation, composing) I emphasize musical creativity early on, helping students develop their own voice—not just copy songs. Classes are for all ages 6+, from complete beginners to intermediate players wanting to expand their skills.

Perfect! Krishna Sir worked with my son for about 12 1 hour in person sessions. He was able to immediately connect, blend exercises with learning songs. My son has picked up some Satriani songs and Sir was able to help improve note articulation and right hand technique. Sir is technically excellent and was able to help get my son started on theory and improvisation. We look forward to working with him remotely.
