About Zael
I may be 19 years old but have about 8 years of experience playing guitar. I like Rock, Fusion, Funk, Jazz and prog metal music along with so many other genres. I tend to lean more towards rock, fusion and metal when playing but have and can play other styles. I play guitar in Galipote; a Caribbean rock band. And have played drums for the Westchester center for Jazz and contemporary music for a couple years as well.

In general my goal is to break down concepts and skills into smaller and more manageable pieces that are easier to understand and acquire. These pieces build the foundation for grander concepts that can then be learned. Basically, I am not going to try to hit you with 100 things at once when I can give you bits of 5 that you can take your time with to get decent at or even master until you reach that 100. I want students, even including myself to truly learn a skill and not just know it for a week or two. So part of the teaching process will not only require just giving out the material but helping the students practice the material itself and being flexible with the different ways a person can learn.
