About Lorenzo
Hey! I'm Lorenzo - a Singapore-based musician specializing in education, performance, and composition. With over 15 years of experience across multiple instruments and styles, I collaborate with a wide range of partners to deliver high-quality musical work.
Teaching sits at the heart of my practice. Over the past 4 years, I have taught guitar and contemporary music to students of all ages, tailoring lessons to individual learning styles. My approach prioritizes not only technical development, but also creativity, confidence, and a genuine love for music, supporting students in their growth as both artists and people. My approach to teaching is informed by my musical experiences as a performer and composer.
As a composer and guitarist, I have co-produced and recorded guitars for two EPs, worked as a session musician, and composed scores for animated films. I have performed extensively across Singapore and at regional music festivals, including tours in Indonesia and Taiwan.

I have 15 years of guitar playing experience, and 4 years of teaching experience. I've taught students from a wide range of ages, levels, and backgrounds. Apart from guitar, I also teach bass, ukulele, songwriting, and music theory. I'm capable of teaching one-to-one and small groups in person or online.
I teach guitar through songs - whether it’s something a student wants to learn or a tune I pick, there’s always a musical or technical lesson in it. I really believe that playing guitar isn’t just about practice. It’s about listening, discovering, and making music part of your everyday life. That way, students learn naturally, develop their technique, and start finding their own voice on the instrument.
With all that said, I'm confident in meeting the musical needs of my students and helping them find confidence on their instrument and in themselves!
