About Hazel

I hold a Master’s degree in Music and bring 8 years of experience teaching guitar to students of different ages and levels. My background in both academic study and practical performance allows me to combine structure with creativity, ensuring that every student benefits from a well-rounded approach to learning. Beyond teaching, I have performed in live concerts, small venues, and collaborative projects, which has given me real-world experience I can share with my students. These opportunities allow me to provide valuable guidance on stage presence, teamwork, and adapting to different musical settings, preparing learners for both practice rooms and live performances. As a tutor, I value patience, encouragement, and adaptability. I believe every student learns differently, and I take pride in creating lessons that reflect their strengths and aspirations. My teaching philosophy is rooted in helping learners not only play guitar but also develop a personal connection to music that inspires confidence, creativity, and enjoyment throughout their lives.

About the lesson

My guitar lessons are designed to help students build a solid foundation while keeping creativity alive. Beginners start by mastering chord progressions, strumming techniques, and rhythm exercises that prepare them for real songs. More advanced players are guided through scales, lead playing, and improvisation, ensuring they steadily refine both technical skill and artistic expression.

This approach makes lessons more rewarding, as learners quickly see progress in their ability to perform and create.
