About Rea

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Guitar Performance and have 9 years of experience teaching guitar to students of different ages and skill levels. My interest in guitar began with a passion for music, which gradually developed into a strong desire to teach and guide others. I believe that learning guitar should be enjoyable, practical, and encouraging, and I focus on helping students build confidence along with strong technical skills.

I personalize my teaching approach based on each student’s needs and learning pace. Beginners receive structured guidance to build a strong foundation, while intermediate learners are supported in improving technique and exploring different styles. Advanced students focus on performance skills and advanced techniques. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing regularly and improving consistently.

Outside of teaching, I continue to play and explore different music styles to improve my own skills and understanding. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging. Helping students grow in confidence and enjoy their musical journey is one of the most rewarding parts of my work as a teacher.

About the lesson

My guitar lessons are designed to help students build strong technical skills while also enjoying the process of learning music. I focus on chord transitions, strumming patterns, rhythm accuracy, fingerstyle techniques, scales, and basic improvisation so students can play smoothly and confidently. Lessons include structured exercises, guided practice, and song learning that helps students improve step by step. I create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and exploring their musical interests.

Lessons are planned based on each student’s level and personal goals. Beginners start with simple chords, basic strumming patterns, and easy songs to build confidence and coordination. Intermediate learners work on improving rhythm control, exploring fingerstyle techniques, and expanding their musical understanding. Advanced students focus on complex techniques, solo playing, tone shaping, and performance skills. Each lesson includes guided exercises, structured practice, and detailed feedback to ensure steady and meaningful progress.

The goal of my guitar lessons is to help students become confident and independent musicians who enjoy playing and learning. They develop strong technical skills, improve their musical understanding, and express themselves creatively. Lessons are designed to balance discipline and enjoyment, helping students stay motivated while building lasting musical ability over time.
