About Raven

I am a dedicated guitar tutor with 6 years of teaching experience and a bachelor’s degree in music performance. My journey with the guitar began in my early teens, and over the years, it has grown into a deep passion that I’ve had the privilege of turning into a career. My academic training and hands-on experience allow me to offer structured yet flexible lessons tailored to each student's goals. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve worked with students of various ages and skill levels, from first-time players to those preparing for auditions or performances. I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring their creativity while building strong technical foundations. My teaching approach is adaptable, combining traditional techniques with modern styles to keep lessons engaging and relevant. I specialize in areas such as fingerstyle technique, chord theory, and improvisation, and I enjoy helping students find their unique voice on the instrument.
