About Harvey
You can expect a patient and relaxed environment where mistakes are treated as necessary parts of growth. Over the last 4 years, I have worked with 140 students to demystify everything from basic strumming patterns to complex ear training.
Having graduated with a BFA from NYU Steinhardt, I provide a structured path through reading tabs and mastering barre chords. My approach balances technical rigor with the freedom of improvisation.
Whether we are focusing on power chords or detailed acoustic technique, I ensure that your practice remains fun. I often integrate music theory into our sessions so that you understand the mechanics behind the strings.
Helping you find your voice as a guitarist is why I keep doing this work. I look forward to seeing your progress as we build your skills together. Let us make some music.
