Hi, I’m a professional guitar tutor with over 2 years of experience helping musicians reach the next level of their careers. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Guitar Performance, and my focus has always been on translating technical mastery into real-world success. My students range from advanced players looking to refine their edge to emerging talents preparing for high-stakes opportunities. Over the years, I’ve coached guitarists through auditions for touring bands, competitive conservatory programmes, and studio recording sessions. I know what it takes to stand out under pressure—and I teach my students how to deliver exactly when it counts. My lessons are goal-driven, but always centred around each student’s creative voice. I’m passionate about helping players not just play better, but think better—like professionals. Whether we’re diving into advanced composition techniques or tightening up a solo for a live set, everything we work on is designed for real-world impact. About the lesson

My teaching approach blends technical mastery with creative expression, especially for lead guitar players. I focus on helping students build the skills they need to solo with confidence and personality. Whether it's mastering phrasing techniques, nailing blues and rock bends, or developing smooth vibrato, I guide you through every detail. Improvisation is a big part of my lessons. You'll learn how to connect scales, use rhythmic ideas, and shape your solos so they actually say something. We’ll explore everything from expressive blues lines to fast-paced rock licks and modal jazz phrasing. I'm especially skilled at working with guitarists like The Jazz Explorer and The Teenage Rebel—players who want to push boundaries and find their own sound. If you're working towards a unique soloing voice, I’ll help you refine it. Lessons are structured, but there's always room to explore and experiment. I give you tools, techniques, and real-world strategies to shred with intention, not just speed. Most of all, I support you in excelling—on stage, in the studio, or anywhere your guitar takes you.
