About Javier antonio

I’m a professional guitarist and teacher with over 30 years of experience. I’ve performed and recorded extensively with the Argentine metal band Nepal, as well as in my solo career. For the past few decades, I’ve also been writing for Todo Guitarra y Bajo, a prestigious guitar magazine, and teaching students of all levels and styles — from absolute beginners to advanced players. My approach to teaching is always tailored to the student’s goals and musical taste. Whether you want to learn rock, metal, blues, or improvisation techniques, I focus on building a strong musical foundation while keeping lessons engaging and practical. I combine technique, theory, and creativity in a way that makes each lesson productive and enjoyable. I offer instruction in: Modern Harmony & Music Theory Sight Reading & Rhythm Training Composition & Arranging Technique Development (Alternate Picking, Sweep Picking, Tapping, Legato, and more) Improvisation & Soloing Concepts Lessons are one-on-one via Zoom or Mooz, and I can teach in both English and Spanish. My goal is to help you not only improve your skills but also develop your unique voice on the instrument. Let’s play!

Hi! My name is Javier Bagala I´m from Buenos Aires Argentina and I’m a professional guitarist and teacher with over 30 years of experience. I’ve performed and recorded extensively with the Argentine metal band Nepal, as well as in my solo career. Es el mejor profesor que te puede tocar, tiene experiencia, sabe escuchar y reconocer las necesidades de los alumnos y tiene una paciencia infinita!!! De una secillez y humildad admirable, siempre alienta y hace que la clase sea muy amena y sin pensarlo aprendés cosas de teoría que por lo menos yo, no tenía ni idea y te las hace aplicar a las canciones que hacés y entonces empezás a entender muchas cosas que te facilitan mucho a la hora de la práctica. Es la mejor elección sin dudas!!! Recomendable al 100%.

He is the best teacher you can get, he has experience, he knows how to listen and recognise the needs of the students and he has infinite patience! He always encourages and makes the class very enjoyable and without thinking about it you learn things about theory that at least I had no idea about and he makes you apply them to the songs you do and then you begin to understand many things that make it much easier for you when it comes to practice. It's the best choice without a doubt! 100% recommendable.
