About Cassidy

I have been teaching guitar for over 7 years, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance. My journey with music started with a deep love for storytelling through sound. Over the years, I discovered how powerful guitar can be in expressing emotions, ideas, and personal experiences. This passion naturally led me to teaching, where I could help others find their own musical voice.

My teaching approach is based on patience, clarity, and connection. I believe that every student learns differently, so I take time to understand their goals and challenges. Some want to play for fun, while others aim for performance or songwriting. I support all of them with equal care and attention. I focus on building strong fundamentals while also encouraging creativity and expression. This balance helps students grow in a well-rounded way.

Outside of teaching, I continue to explore music through performance, composition, and listening to different styles. This keeps my perspective fresh and allows me to bring new ideas into lessons. Teaching guitar is more than a job for me—it is something I truly enjoy. Helping students grow, gain confidence, and enjoy music is what makes this journey meaningful every day.

About the lesson

My guitar lessons are designed to make learning both engaging and meaningful from the very first session. I use storytelling, humor, and familiar music references to help students connect emotionally with what they are learning. Instead of focusing only on technique, I guide learners to understand how music feels and flows. We explore bending, vibrato, tone shaping, and phrasing in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. Each concept is introduced step by step so students never feel overwhelmed. The goal is to make learning guitar something you genuinely look forward to every time.

I carefully adapt my teaching style based on each learner’s needs and pace. Some students need encouragement to build confidence, while others want deeper technical challenges. I provide both, in a balanced and supportive way. Lessons include structured practice, creative exercises, and real song applications. Students learn how to express themselves through solos, improve timing, and develop their own unique sound. I also focus on stage confidence, helping learners feel comfortable performing in front of others.

Over time, students begin to see real growth not just in skill, but in confidence and creativity. They become more relaxed while playing and more expressive with their sound. My lessons aim to turn practice into a rewarding experience where progress feels exciting and natural. Every session is a step toward becoming a confident and expressive guitarist.
