• When did you first develop a passion for music and your favorite instrument?

  I developed a passion for music in my early childhood. My mother played the accordion, and even then, I knew it would be the instrument I would choose in elementary music school. 

• Is there a specific type of music or performer you listen to non-stop without getting tired of it?

  Of course, I love listening to classical music. I particularly enjoy the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, especially as performed by the renowned pianist Andras Schiff. 

• Explain to us which course you find the most difficult or exciting to teach to a music student.

  After graduating from the music academy and with six years of experience working with students, I believe I can fully adapt to a student's needs and interests. I am prepared to offer any genre that the student finds engaging to play. 

• Which instrument do you think is the most complicated to master and why?

  I believe every instrument is equally complicated if you want to play it really well and at a high level. As a child, I played two instruments in elementary music school, the flute and the accordion. I realized then that both instruments are equally demanding if you want to play them proficiently. 

• What are your keys to success?

  The key to success in music is certainly practice, practice, and more practice. Just kidding, I believe the key to success is loving and enjoying what you do.

• Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favorite bar in the early morning hours. Explain why.

  Interesting question! It would definitely include the aforementioned pianist Andras Schiff, whom I adore for his performances of Bach's compositions. Then Friedrich Lips, a man who has done so much for the development of classical music worldwide, and one of the best accordionists in the world today, Aleberdi Injaki. 

• Share a valuable anecdote related to music or your days spent in music school.

  Concerts and competitions are an essential part of every musician's life. As a first-year student, I went to a competition abroad. Unfortunately, my accordion broke, and I didn't have an instrument to play on. Fortunately, at the music academy where the competition was held, I met colleagues who wanted to help and found a technician who fixed my instrument that very morning. Just half an hour later, I performed! This proves that musicians are always ready to help in times of need.

• What are the little things that make you a Superprof in music?

  I believe my patience in working with students makes me a super professor.
