About Matt
My name is Matt. I live near Milton Keynes and I am a father of two young children. I have a lifelong passion for design and creativity. I think any student can benefit greatly from the wealth of knowledge and experience I have from over 25 years in the industry. I have lots of valuable teaching experience at degree level and I combine this with industry insights to provide strong and well-rounded sessions that are practical and fit for the real world of design and working life as a designer.

Through structured personal tutoring sessions you will learn how you can apply your creativity through practical projects. We work together to identify where your strengths are to build upon and we work on areas that need improvement. Sessions are typically 30 minutes to 1 hour. My sessions are tailored to each student designer. I work with students aged 18+. I am a practising graphic designer with over 25 years' experience in the industry. I worked in London for 15 years, with 10 of those years as a freelance designer working for many different design studios and agencies. I've taught graphic design at 4 different universities at all degree levels. I've been recognised by D&AD for outstanding creativity.
