About Sophie

Hi, I’m Sophie… a high-energy creative, known for my passion for design and visual storytelling. As an Advertising Student at RMIT, my aspiration is to find a role as an Art Director. I’m eager to explore innovative design opportunities through visual storytelling and collaborating on projects that make a meaningful impact. My goal? To make everything a little more fun and a lot more unique, leaving people saying, “Dang it, I wish I thought of that!” I’m passionate about bringing unique concepts to life through visual storytelling and memorable designs that inspire creativity in others. My journey began as a Marketing Intern at University College in 2022, where I honed my skills in branding and content creation, which led me to launch my freelance design business. In 2022, I was honored with the Best Entry in Photography Award, which fueled my ambition to push creative boundaries. I also had the privilege of serving as the Design Representative on the Student Executive Leadership Team, where I led the art direction and planning of Art and Design Week. Currently, I work as a Communications and Design Assistant at Melbourne Wine School, where I’m always brainstorming my next big idea. In my spare time, you can usually find me on Pinterest, dreaming up my next fashion statement or project.

About the lesson

Hey there! I’m Sophie, a third year advertising student and soon to be Junior Art Director, with industry experience in design, communications and marketing, based in Melbourne. If you’re looking to improve your design skills, whether for personal projects, small businesses, or just for fun, I’ve got you covered!

I offer one on one, beginner friendly lessons in:
- Canva & Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Social media content creation
- CapCut video editing
- Mailchimp & email marketing
- Logos, business cards & website basics

No matter your skill level, I’ll help you feel confident designing like a pro, without the overwhelm. Sessions are fun, relaxed, and tailored to what you want to learn.
