About Akriti
I am currently a final-year Bachelor of Arts student majoring in Sociology and Psychology. My approach to education is rooted in my own academic journey, where I consistently maintain high standards and a deep engagement with my subjects. Having spent three years mastering these disciplines, I understand exactly where students struggle and how to bridge those gaps.

Winning first-place awards in debate and poetry has taught me the art of breaking down complex ideas into persuasive, easy-to-understand language. 1. Teaching Techniques & Methods
My method moves away from rote memorization. Since I specialize in Sociology and Psychology, I focus on "Applied Learning." I use my digital tablet as a virtual whiteboard to map out complex theories, social structures, and psychological frameworks in real-time.
Visual Mapping: I draw flowcharts and diagrams to explain connections between concepts.
Real-World Examples: I link Sociological theories to current events and Psychological concepts to everyday human behavior to make them relatable.
Bilingual Support: I am comfortable explaining concepts in both English and Hindi to ensure the student fully grasps the core idea.
2. The Structure of a Class
Each 60-minute session is designed for maximum retention:
The Recap (5-10 mins): We start by reviewing the previous session's key takeaways.
The Core Lesson (35-40 mins): We dive into the new topic using the digital whiteboard. This is interactive—I encourage questions throughout.
The Summary & PDF (10 mins): We summarize the lesson. I then convert our whiteboard notes into a high-quality PDF and send it to the student immediately for their revision.
