About Livii
My name is Livii. I am 23 and I am graduating with a Civil engineering degree and a math minor at Seattle University. I am the oldest of 11 and have tutored my siblings for years in subjects they struggle with. I liked math a lot as a child, but then had my ups and downs through my years. Depending on the subject, we will work through problems, understanding them fundamentally, then working through problems together and separately. Can teach middle, high school, and early college.
I use lots of analogies and real-world relations.
Plan: I like to whiteboard and start with what we know and are trying to achieve before starting. If possible, draw pictures. Each person works differently, so with some working through problems together, others attempting the problem separately then I step in where the problem is.
