About Mahnoor

Hello! My name is Mahnoor Raza, and I am currently a university student. I am a dedicated and passionate English tutor. I understand that finding the right tutor is about trust. You want someone who is not only knowledgeable but also patient, reliable, and truly cares about your success. I am committed to providing exactly that. As I am building my formal teaching experience, I bring a fresh and relatable perspective. Having recently excelled in my own English studies, I have a clear and current understanding of the curricula and, most importantly, I remember exactly which concepts are the most challenging to grasp. This enables me to explain things clearly and understandably, breaking down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps. My approach is always student-centered and professional. I am prompt, prepared for every session, and provide a supportive learning environment where it's safe to ask questions and make mistakes. About the lesson

My Tutoring Approach: English (Spelling, Reading, Creative Writing, Literature) My Goal: To help you feel confident and unlock your creativity in English. I make lessons engaging and supportive, focusing on your personal strengths and goals. How I Teach: First, I listen. I start by understanding what you find easy, what you find hard, and what you're interested in. This helps me create lessons just for you. For Spelling & Reading: I use fun techniques like word games and stories to make spelling stick. We read together and talk about the story to make sure you understand and enjoy it. For Creative Writing: I use cool prompts and pictures to get your ideas flowing. I help you plan your writing, and then give you friendly feedback to make your stories even better. For Literature: I help you "read between the lines" to understand characters and themes better. We'll work on how to share your opinions and write strong essays. Every lesson has a clear goal, like learning a new rule or finishing a writing exercise. Lesson Length: Standard Lesson: 60 minutes Longer Lesson: 90 minutes (good for test prep or big projects) My Experience: I am a passionate reader and writer. Although I do not have a teaching degree, as I am currently a university student, I have recently mastered these subjects myself. I know exactly what parts are tricky for students. I have helped friends and family improve their grades by explaining things in a simple, patient way. Ages: 8 to 16 years old (Grade 3 to Grade 10) Level: Beginner to Intermediate Perfect for: Students who find English confusing or boring, who need to build confidence, or who want to get better at reading and writing for school.
