About Rukmini

My focus is in psychology currently. My focus is in psychological research. Previously I studied archaeological anthropology in Belize and I have an acting degree. I currently work as a behavioral technician part time using my ABA training. My strategy for tutoring is breaking the material down to simplify then adding in complexity. We don’t move forward until there is a solid understanding.

About the lesson

I like to strategize with the student by assessing their needs and goals for their learning experience. When someone feels overwhelmed by a subject I believe it is best to simplify things and take it one step at a time.

typically I would assess the students needs, then we work with assignments they need help with, target areas that need attention, then review the lesson. By the end of the session my goal is for the student to have a strong understanding of the material at hand.

I understand that at times our education path can be frustrating and straight up boring! I used to feel my lack of ability to understand certain subjects made me feel incapable of learning, but I can assure you that you can overcome that feeling with the proper assistance. I am here to help you when you are lost, or just want some extra assistance. Learning can be a fun experience that you should feel confident with and I want you to feel great.

I can help with any humanities studies up to a college level. I also specialize in anthropological biology at a college level.
