About Gavin
Welcome students; my name is Gavin Wilmoth! I am so excited to be on this musical journey with you. I have graduated from Concordia University Irvine with a BA in music education, studying musical pedagogy, church music, violin and voice performance. From Cal State Fullerton, I have also received an MA in music history and literature, studying various focuses as an academic writer on Baroque music, film musicology, rock music, symphonic music, and music in California. I have been a music instructor/professor at Santa Ana College for three years, developing various music history and theory courses.

I am here to help you. My ways of tutoring and teaching are different. My approach to a tutoring lesson is that the student asks about a specific topic or homework assignment to work on. that the student wants to get better at. However, I do teaching lessons. These lessons are modified courses that I have developed from my experience in classroom teaching at Santa Ana College. I have been a professor there for three years now; however, I have over ten years of teaching experience. My way of I approaching any form of teaching is within the perspective of servant leadership. I am here to serve and help you on your musical journey.
