About Maniha
My name is Maniha, I’m 20 years old and I am currently a first year Computer Animation art and design student at Bournemouth University.
I’ve always been very interested in social and linguistic subjects such as Psychology, Sociology and English. This is the reason I really enjoy teaching English as it’s not just about linguistics but so much more than that. I’ve been in the top 10% of students in the world to receive an A grade in A level English language and have studied courses on university level practice.
I’m a patient, empathetic and hardworking teacher who is willing to help the student achieve their goal through dedication and practice.

Each session will be 2 hours long with thorough analysis of all academic reading and writing material as well as personal practice.
I’m available to be contacted outside of class times for feedback and all online lessons can take place on Zoom, Google meet or Microsoft teams. These lessons can be recorded and reviewed for personal progress.
I truly believe reading is the first step to getting better at any linguistic subject so I prefer in letting the students pick out one book from their favourite genre and one book they would never ever think of reading. Understanding different writing styles helps us, as individuals, write better and in a more diverse manner.
Upon practicing writing, I have the approach of keeping a writing diary. This helps the student keep track of their progress on their own!
