My classes are aimed at children, teenagers and adults who are passionate about cartoons and are interested in becoming 2D animators for professional or personal purposes. In my classes we can use various approaches, adapting to your characteristics and previous level of knowledge.
We can start by learning the tools and how to use them, and gradually advance until you have mastered the software completely. After a first, more technical stage, we can move on to character animation (your own characters or some that I will provide you). At the end of the preparation period, you will be able to design, build and animate characters professionally or for your own personal projects.
We can also take a more dynamic approach, starting from day one with rigging and animation exercises. This way you will become familiar not only with the program (Toon Boom) but we will also work on your skills.
In addition to all the technical knowledge related to the program, we will also cover elements such as the principles of animation and the most efficient ways to approach cut-out animation and character rigging.
My approach will be very didactic, since I have several years of experience as a teacher. And my methodology is mainly influenced by problem solving and the development of critical thinking.
These classes will not only be informative but also fun. Because in my years as a teacher I have perceived that the best way to deep and permanent learning is through play. We will approach each objective as a challenge and we will enter the world of 2D animation, overcoming obstacles and increasing our skill levels to finally achieve the greatest achievement: Becoming an "Animator"
After this mentoring you will feel like a true animation champion, and there will be no mission that you cannot accomplish.
