About Mia
I have a degree in Sociology (BA Honors) from Newcastle University and I am currently a student of Psychology at the UOC. I have 5 years of experience in being an English Tutor (I have taught classes to people from 6 to 55 years old) and tutor to provide school support to children in training. Also, I have been a Peer Mentor during my career in England. I have also collaborated in activism and volunteer roles (Women for Women International).

My teaching method strictly depends on the needs of the student. My philosophy understands that each person is a world, especially when it comes to learning and acquiring knowledge. I try to start from a base of mutual understanding, where the student communicates his needs to me and I assess his level. From then on, I establish a calendar with goals to reach; which are a perfect indicator of the knowledge acquired and the improvement of the student.
