About Yasmin
I am a recently graduated from the Master of Comparative International Relations from Ca'Foscari University in Venice. I am specialized in international history, environmental studies and intercultural relations.
Through studying and working in Japan, the Netherlands, Italy and France, I was able to deepen my linguistic and cultural skills.
I am fluent in four European languages: German, English, French and Italian. Further I am also fluent in Japanese, due to my experiences in this country.

For me, languages are incredibly rich. Being multilingual opens doors for working, studying and traveling around the world. You can talk to people from different cultures, deepen your knowledge and expand your horizons. I would like to pass this message on to my students, so that they grow up with the same passion as languages.
My methodology involves interactive teaching. I find it important that students speak and construct sentences themselves, and learn grammar actively through discussion, analysis and creation of texts and by listening to excerpts from radio, TV, podcasts etc. in the corresponding language. In my courses I will thus introduce different methods to learn a language, corresponding to the student profile.
In addition I find it is also important to have fun when learning a language. I will prepare various themes outside the themes of the standard, and respond to the wishes and interests of my students.
My classes are open for all levels, I adapt by corresponding to the level of the student.
