About Lucia

Since my master's degree in history of the Italian language, I have become a licensed tour guide for Siena and province, in Italian, English, French and Japanese. I taught Italian at various educational levels, from nursery to high school up to the University for Foreigners of Siena. Art, history, travel and human relations are among my major interests.

About the lesson

My lessons are very customized according to the needs of the student, so they can range from pure and simple conversation on current topics or of common interest, up to syntactic-grammatical rules. I am used to following both young children with home schooling (I have 3 children), adults who want to perfect their writing, and foreigners who come to Italy for study or simply for pleasure. In a fun and easy way.

Perfect! Lucia è stata una meravigliosa insegnante di italiano per le mie due bambine.
Ha trovato dei giochi divertenti con cui giocare mentre si esercitavano e aiutavano a migliorare il loro italiano.

Lucia has been a wonderful Italian teacher for my 2 girls.
She has found some fun games for them to play whilst practising and helping to improve their Italian.
