About Bryce
I am an aspiring MD/PhD candidate, and I have a background in the history and philosophy of science and medicine. I have written argumentative content in many disciplines: history, philosophy, political theory, social science, medicine, biology, chemistry, physics, art history, and music history. I have engaged with the UChicago writing program for three years now, and I have developed the skills necessary for clear, concise, and persuasive writing. I learned that the most important step in writing is not writing the best first draft. Instead, a good writer is a good editor that above all else KNOWS THEIR READERS.

In my lessons, we will engage in a robust editing process for your essays, be they for class, your capstone project for your major or minor, or even drafts of sections for your BA or BS Thesis. I am most qualified to improve your argumentative writing, so we will work together to develop your toolbox of persuasive techniques. These techniques relate to all levels of your writing: word choice and order, sentence length and structure, paragraph content and flow, argumentative focus and clarity. In our lessons, we will edit your essays with these techniques, and over time I hope to teach you the tools to become a rhetorical powerhouse with the pen.
