I graduated from Queen Mary, University of London last year with a 2:1 in Comparative Literature and have five years experience working with children key stage 3 and 4. I am planning on pursuing a PGCE and qualifying as a full-time teacher and am currently working as a teaching assistant.
I provide academic support in one-on-one, and occasionally in group settings, to children and teenagers whilst working as a teaching assistant. I have been provided training through the children's charity I have volunteered to aid my teaching methods.
I have an excellent understanding of the English syllabus and mark schemes at both A level and GCSE having gained an A (96%) in my English Literature A-level only a few years ago. I can help with anything from perfecting coursework to exam technique and generally providing support to struggling students.
My experience working as a teaching assistant and providing educational support has given me the patience and skills to help any student. I believe any student has the ability to gain high marks. I am particularly results driven but will also teach students transferable skills and knowledge.
