About Liya

I was born in a multicultural family (Ecuadorian-Taiwanese) I have been surrounded by different cultures and languages since I was very little. I have an innate passion to teach not only my language but also my culture.
In my free time I love to listen to music and paint.

About the lesson

I strongly believe in the natural approach. I expect my students to learn a second language with purpose and naturally in a entertaining environment.
My lessons are developed to engage students with listening, reading, speaking, and writing.
I use authentic materials based on students needs and include music, poetry, and news as a potential resource.
At the end of every lesson I sum up with a reflection and review.
