Graduated Business Student with a major in finance and minor in economics with a strong passion towards music. I have volunteered as a guitar instructor and have played at many small live shows/events around Toronto. I can teach any genre of music on guitar (acoustic and electric) but have an area of focus in pop, rock, blues, and fingerstyle. Will tailor lessons based on what genres and styles my students want to learn, while incorporating all essential skills required to play guitar.
Lessons will be less theory-based and will focus on developing the essential skills and techniques such as reading tabs, improvisation, chord play and soloing.
Looking forward to having fun and respectful interactions with students while working towards a consistent goal.
