About Alba
I am Alba and I have specialized in Evolutionary Biology during my academic training. I am currently studying my second Master in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics. I do not have much experience teaching paid classes, but I have helped my classmates during my academic training and I feel that I am qualified for it. I like to adapt the methodology to the student in question, since not all of us retain concepts in the same way. The methodologies range from schematic explanations on paper, to preparation of PowerPoint presentations with the content to be assimilated, through the use of applications and multimedia content for explanations. I am a person who considers that patience is very important when teaching a subject and that, above all, the most important thing is to approach the content as something of interest, exciting; Since biology surrounds us on a daily basis and understanding it helps us to live a little closer to nature and respect it (which is becoming more and more important). With all this, I want to summarize my teaching philosophy with the following phrase:
"Tell me something and I will forget it; teach me something and I will remember it; make me participate in something and I will learn it"

Details
The price of the classes is something to discuss in particular with the student due to the high number of factors that have to be taken into account: difficulty, frecuency, if I need to go to the student's residence or not... etc. The same is applied for the cancelation of the classes.
