About Emily
My name is Emily and I am an outgoing, friendly tutor whose hands-on teaching style originates from my love of drama!
I am a recent post-graduate from the University of St Andrews with a passion for English Literature. I love to read, a love which I channelled into my undergraduate degree. I began teaching when I was around 16, where I discovered my love for sharing my interests through engaging lessons.

I can teach 1-2 hour blocks online. I have studied English Literature at an undergraduate level and achieved a First Class mark and this past year have completed my master's degree in Women's Literature from the University of St. Andrews. I will improve a student's writing quality and use of grammar for essays and English exams for GCSEs, A Levels, and IB diplomas, and am more than happy to proof read any writing.
For non-native speakers, I have 3 years of experience teaching Drama to primary students, so I like to apply this background through engaging, dynamic lessons. I speak Spanish to a C1 level so I understand the pressures of learning a foreign language, so I teach with empathy and listen to the needs of my students.
