About Mathilde

My name is Mathilde (she/her/elle) and I am a French 25-year-old freelance journalist for climate justice and human rights. I am in Dublin for summer to finish writing my dissertation.

I grew up in Pouilly-Sur-Loire, in France Burgundy, and studied Philosophy in Paris before coming here to Dublin to learn English and study journalism. I spent a year in London as an Au Pair and taught French there. I also tutored students and prepared them for exams in France during several months (history, literature, philosophy, social sciences, economy and politics).

I am very keen to teach again, get to know you and improve our skills together.

About the lesson

After understanding the needs and expectations of each student profile and background, I will design and personalize my tutoring.

I have been testing myself different ways of learning and teaching; as we have all been experiencing a different way of learning, our relationship to learning is something very personal and needs to be adapted and listened to.

A safe and active communication is the key to my tutoring. The student and I will debrief at the end of the session the feelings for better learning support.

I teach from 6 years old.

A class could last between 30 minutes to 2 hours.

I teach listening, speaking, reading, writing, accent improvement, for different contexts (academic, work, holiday, etc.).
