About Manka Ewo

Hello everyone!

My name is Synthia Manka Ewo, and I am excited to be your teacher. I believe that learning is a journey, and I look forward to growing and learning together with all of you.

I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and have nine years of experience in Human Resources within the hospitality industry. Throughout my career, I have worked with people from many different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, patience, and appreciation for diversity.

In addition to my HR background, I have also studied Kindergarten Education, which has deepened my understanding of child development and effective teaching methods. I enjoy creating a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate.

I chose to become a teacher because I am passionate about helping others learn, grow, and reach their full potential. I believe education is one of the most powerful tools for building confidence, developing skills, and creating opportunities for a better future.

I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and making our classroom a place where we can learn, collaborate, and succeed together.

About the lesson

Hi everyone.

If you are looking for an English tutor, you're not just choosing someone to teach you grammar or vocabulary. You're choosing someone who will guide you, encourage you, and help you build the confidence to communicate in English.

My approach to private tutoring is simple: every student is different, so every lesson should be different. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method. I take the time to understand your goals, your strengths, and the challenges you face. Whether you want to improve your speaking, prepare for an exam, succeed in an interview, or communicate more confidently at work, I design lessons that focus on your needs.

In my classes, making mistakes is not something to fear. Mistakes are opportunities to learn and improve. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their ideas, and practicing without embarrassment.

I also believe that learning should be engaging and practical. Rather than memorizing long lists of words, you'll learn English through real conversations, everyday situations, and activities that help you use the language naturally. My goal is to help you speak English with confidence, not just pass a test.
