About Charlotte
I am an architecture graduate student at The University of Virginia, and I have always utilized writing as a form of both creative expression and professional communication. I believe that writing can inspire confidence, and I have years of experience (and dozens of undergraduate and graduate application essays) that I am excited to share. I also understand that writing, particularly personal writing, can be a difficult task, and I am happy to navigate it with anyone who may be looking for help or support in this area.

I have several years of experience with academic reading, writing, and editing, and I enjoy helping students discover their personal writing style through an analysis of their current work. I also believe that sharing one's writing can be a vulnerable experience, and I strive to create a space that feels comfortable and approachable. Consequently, I utilize constructive feedback, and I will always find a way to work with the author's style rather than imposing my own. That being said, if desired, I am willing to share my own writing in order to develop a working environment that is not one-sided.
I can assist middle and high school students looking to improve their communication skills, and I am particularly experienced with SAT and AP English. Additionally, I can assist with college and graduate school applications, and I am happy to help students select appropriate subject matter, develop outlines, and ultimately complete high-quality pieces.
