About Tawana
I am 24 and based in Perth, Western Australia, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literary Studies from the University of Western Australia and I am currently pursuing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at UWA. My studies in English and Literary Studies have developed my critical reading, analytical thinking and written communication skills, while my postgraduate teacher education is equipping me with contemporary pedagogies and practical classroom experience for secondary teaching. I am passionate about literature, and creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences that help young people build confidence as readers, writers and thinkers.
