I have a Bachelorsof Arts in Health Science Writing from the University of Iowa. During my time there, I took classes in several different areas: creative writing, rhetoric, English literature, medical terminology, medical record keeping, journalism, grant writing, and graduate admissions.

My teaching techniques involve constructive feedback, proof reading, grammar, diction, and brainstorming ideas for improvement. A typical lesson will consist of goal setting, review of material, an editing/workshop session, and plan of action to execute changes. Lessons are for creative writing, fiction, and personal essays.
