About Sarah

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a focus on Chemistry and Mathematics. I tutored Chemistry for one year, which helped me develop flexible teaching strategies to meet different learning styles. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Teaching English Learners. I am fluent in both Spanish and English and have provided private tutoring to various individuals in the past. I am also currently learning Egyptian Arabic, and I welcome individuals whose first language is Arabic to learn English with me in a supportive and encouraging environment.

About the lesson

I understand how hard learning a new language can be because I have been there myself. I am bilingual and currently training as an educator, and I focus on patient, personalized lessons that help build confidence. I am understanding, non judgmental, and I know everyone learns in their own way. I truly believe that practice makes perfect, so I encourage students to practice outside of class to reinforce what we learn together. If you decide to work with a tutor, I hope I am the one you choose. I would love to meet you and support you on your language learning journey.

Perfect! If I could give this lesson a higher review I would, Sarah was clear with her instructions, corrected me when I made a mistake or said something incorrectly and explained why it was that way, so made it easier to understand again for next time

Lesson structure: It was planned, thought out and clearly labelled with a good flow.
