About Anna

Hello! I am an actor and drama teacher/facilitator originally from North Yorkshire. I studied at the Guildford School of Acting and was lucky to get in straight from school (and lucky really is the word!). Preparing by myself I stumbled at every obstacle. During my training I worked on the audition panels, gleaning experience from the other side of the table. Now that I am teaching professionally (to students of all ages and experience levels - drama school included) I want to share my knowledge of the audition process to empower auditionees to take charge of their audition, and really show what they have to offer.

I have an enhanced DBS Certificate.

About the lesson

Affordable, personalised sessions to elevate your acting and prepare you for Drama School Auditions. In 5 sessions we will cover:
* Speeches (how to find the great ones and what to avoid)
* Speech Coaching (using established methods to uncover your best performance)
* Interview preparation
* Choosing a school and course that is right for you
* Self taping and Mock auditions

When I was auditioning for Drama Schools I stumbled at every obstacle, as I was preparing by myself. Now that I am a professional actor and drama teacher with first hand experience, having worked for a number of years on audition panels, I want to share my knowledge and inspire confidence and ease in auditionees. Auditioning needn’t be a scary process - it can be exciting when you know what to expect!

I set my rates with the intention of being accessible to students. If finance is a barrier to you accessing drama school and coaching, i am happy to discuss rates on a pay what you can basis.
