About Faith Ruth

Hello! I'm currently a Finance graduate student with over three years of experience tutoring English. I believe learning should feel approachable, engaging, and tailored to each student's unique goals. My specialties include SAT Reading & Writing, grammar, proofreading, and essay writing, and I enjoy helping students build both strong academic skills and lasting confidence.
When I'm not studying or tutoring, you'll usually find me reading, exploring new places, or catching up with friends over coffee. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about their experiences, which is one of the reasons I enjoy teaching so much.
My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing as writers and communicators. Whether you're preparing for the SAT, refining an essay, or strengthening your grammar skills, I'm excited to help you reach your goals and enjoy the learning process along the way.

I have 3 years of experience tutoring English and am currently a Finance graduate student. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on being patient, approachable, and clear. I don't just teach the material, I help students understand why answers are correct and how to apply those skills independently.
