About Praful

I am an International Masters Student here in Canada, and I have been learning about computers, and programming since the age of 14. I have graduated from Mumbai University in India with a Bachelors in Engineering in Computer Engineering (GPA 8.42/10) specialized in Cyber Security, and currently I am enrolled in Concordia University. I have studied and researched in the domain of Cyber security, Data analytics, Cloud computing, Distributed Systems. Currently I am working and developing projects in the field of Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH), which is something that is used in most of the online streaming platform nowadays. Now, that was a little something about me. As a teacher, I am more focused on teaching the fundamentals and basics of computer science and programming to people, especially young students, or people with little coding experience. Because I strongly admire such people's will and yearning to learn programming! I have about year and half experience as online tutor back in India where I have taught students python and little cyber security basics.

Why me as you tutor? I will adapt to your needs, and your learning pace. There is NO RUSH. I will sit with you for hours with same concept, as much as time you would need. Because I want to make sure that you learn everything that I can give you from my experience.

Right now, I am teaching Java (object oriented programming) and Python.

About the lesson

I am a graduate student pursuing a Master's in Applied Computer Science, and I have a passion for teaching Java and Python to beginners. With a strong background in coding and a deep understanding of programming fundamentals, I am confident that I can help you become a proficient programmer in no time. If you are someone who are very new to this field, or does not have prior coding experience, then I will be your best mentor, and you will be my best student, because I specialize in teaching students with little to zero programming experience.

My philosophy is to make programming fun. And I firmly believe that learning anything should be fun!

My approach to teaching programming is simple yet effective. I believe that anyone, regardless of their background or prior experience, can learn how to code. My job as a teacher is to provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to succeed, and to guide you on your journey to becoming a skilled programmer.

Whether you're interested in programming as a hobby, or you're looking to enhance your career prospects by learning a valuable skill, I can help. With my guidance, you'll learn how to write clean, efficient, and effective code in Java and Python. You'll also gain a deep understanding of programming concepts such as algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming. You can enrol with me for either Java programming (Object Oriented Programming) or for Python (General python programming and automation). My classes are for people with no coding experience, or with people with some experience(beginner to intermediate).
